**Bargain Alert!!** I have been brought up to appreciate a bargain and this Real Techniques Bold Metals set is definitely a bargain. This was originally retailing at £64 when it was first launched. The retail value of the brushes contained in this kit is £69 plus then the cost of the clutch.
Right before Christmas, this set was reduced to the wonderful price of £35. Half of the retails value of the contents. These brushes are worth the £35 all day long as they are so lovely and luxurious as I have mentioned in previous posts.
This week, these brushes were reduced again to an amazing £25 via the Boots website. Included in this lovely set is a silver clutch – not one that you would use for night out, but a nice way to store your make up brushes for travel purposes maybe.
There are then three brushes including one exclusive brush :
Exclusive – 103 Angled Powder brush – Largest head yet. The angled head blends seamlessly and contours to face
This is very similar to the 100 Arched Powder Brush although slightly more fuller. I use this for applying mineral make up or bronzer / highlighting powders. The 100 Arched Powder brush retails at £25 itself, so this is an indication of what a steal this set is!
200 Oval Shadow brush – The full, round shape allows for all over lid application and seamless blending.
I love this brush and have previously bought this as a single brush, which retails at £15. It is perfect for applying a base shadow all over the lids, or to also apply highlighter just under the brow bone. As all RT brushes are synthetic, I think this would also be a great brush for applying cream products such as cream shadows, concealers or highlighters.
300 Tapered Blush – The specially-designed tip highlights and sculpts across cheeks for seamless finish.
I absolutely adore this brush and have been after it for a while, which is the main reason I was sold when I saw this kit at such a great price. The brush itself retails at £24 and is the perfect shape for applying blush, contour and highlighter.
As with all RT brushes, the Bold Metals collection is colour coded. All base brushes have a gold handle, eye brushes have a silver handle and the finishing brushes i.e contour/blush have a stunning rose gold finish.
At the time of writing this article, this set is still in stock on the Boots web page, and you can even bag free delivery when you choose In – Store Collection.
