Products of the day | Body Shop, Botanics, Make Up Revolution and MAC

So, I am still trudging my way through this terrible virus, chest infection, flu type thing and so am desperately trying to make myself look presentable for work despite having little to no energy, or voice for that matter! My base today is the Body Shop All-in-one BB Cream (£12) – unfortunately I picked up the wrong one when purchasing on picked up 03 Dark, so I have to lighten it up a bit. The BB Cream comes out of the silver tube white with dark specks,  which when blended into the skin transfers as a light coverage BB Cream.  I really like it. I have mixed it with Botanics Radiance Balm All Bright (£5.99 but currently on 3 for 2 in boots). This, I would say is very similar to Benefit’s That Gal primer but a fraction of the price and really does what it says – create radiance! I have had a few people comment that I look better the last few days (even though I don’t feel it) and I think it’s because I have been mixing this with my base.

On my eyes, I have gone for a fresh pinky look today as it’s supposed to be nearly summer. I used the I heart Make Up , I heart my Brows kit (£4.99) which I mentioned on my brow post. I used it for shadow, liner and brows.

I then did some slight contouring and highlighting with the Beauty UK Ultimate Contour Palette (£4.99). I am going to include details about that in a later post.  I used Benefit Ooh la lift under my eyes just to perk me up a bit!
For a flush of colour I used the MAC Sheertone Blush in Dolly Mix from my cohorted beauty box. I really do love this blush because it looks quite scary in the pan, but it actually goes on quite pretty and is buildable to allow to go as bright as you desire. I prefer a more natural look.
I finished off with the NYC Lip Primer stick for a bit of moisture.

I can tell you my make up doesn’t look like that now as I am laid up on the couch with my blanket and amaretto latte!
Thanks for reading as always,
