Today I thought I would share with you one of my nude palettes which I have been loving recently. I have been talking about Make Up Revolution / I Heart Make Up alot lately but I think I have just cause because it such a fabulously affordable range with amazing quality products and such a huge choice from neon to nude, shimmer to sultry.
They also are the King of Dupes! Who doesn’t love a dupe (a more affordable version of a premium product).
So, here we have the I heart Make Up I heart Chocolate Palette (£7.99) which is one of 3 palettes in this collection which are all on the nude spectrum. There is a rumour that this collection is a dupe for the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette (£39) which I don’t own personally.
I love that this palette is designed to look like a bar of chocolate. The packaging is sturdy plastic and doesn’t feel cheap.
Inside the casing is 16 nude shades covered by a clear plastic protector sheet with the shade names written on it and a large mirror which is always handy!
Six of the sixteen shades are matte, 3 satin with hints of shimmers and 7 gorgeous satin shades.
I always always wear eyeshadow, unless I am wearing no make up at all and i have a bit of a ritual of applying a cream/ivory base all over the lid on top of whatever eye primer I have chosen that day. I love that this palette has two options, a matte and a shimmer and they are the largest in the palette, which is great for me.
So below are the swatches from the palette. As you can see there is a real gorgeous mix of light and dark colours.
On the top picture we have (l-r); You Need Love, Piece Me Together, One More Piece, Love Torn, Stolen Chocolate, Thank Friday, More!, Pleasure Girl.
On the bottom picture we have (L-R)
Meet Chocolate, Unforgivable and Love Devine, Smooth Criminal, Chocolate Love, You Need More, What A Way To Go and Endorphins Ready!
Some of the colours haven’t shown up great on the picture but all I can say is at £7.99 this palette is perfect for people of all capabilities of applying make up and doesn’t break the bank!
Thanks for coming back,
