This is definitely a splurge purchase and this was a gift to me (from me!) for my wedding last year. I really wanted a natural glow to my face and with the wedding being in February I was not going to get it from the sun.
I am so in love with Dior make up but it is definitely a bank breaker and so a rare treat these days. This powder is not only beautiful on the skin but beautiful in its packaging!
The mirrored metal case is so heavy and oozes luxury. There is a mirror on the inside and the metal casing is embossed with a white lace effect. As with most Dior cosmetics, it comes encased in a lovely black velvet pouch. The brush in the picture was not included but can be purchased separately.
You can see from the photo the powder has a peach toned lace effect, and the middle section of the powder is a very pale bronzing powder with Dior pressed into it.
I have to say, the photo does not show the true shade as the swatch on here looks more ivory.
This is a product used to highlight the tops of the cheeks and give an all over glow that is not too over the top.
I paid around £44 for this, and as I have had it since last year I have not been able to find this available currently to give an accurate price.
If you did fancy a treat to your self ( go on, you deserve it!) a nice alternative would be DIOR Diorific Golden Shock – Illuminating Pressed Powder – £49, available from Debenhams.
