Well groomed brows really make a difference to a woman’s face and in order to create well groomed brows whether they are tweezed, waxed or threaded you need to have good products. Good products don’t necessarily have to mean a big dent in your purse and I wanted to show you some great eyebrow powder products that are available in shops at the moment.
Here I have a range of premium to very affordable with two Benefit products, Beauty UK High Brow Quad, Sleek Brow Kit and I heart Make Up Brows and Eyes kit.
First we have Benefit’s Brows a-go-go (£28.50) which is an all in one brow kit. It includes the light and medium brow zings eye brow powders and the wax. Also included is a pinky pearlescent shadow which is used to highlight the brow bone, as well as eyes bright which should be used to highlight the inner corner of the eye to open it up and make the eyes look brighter. The swatches above show the colours of the powders and the wax (the wax is not usually that dark , it is just because it is well used!). You can also see the brow bone powder and the eyes bright. This also comes with a mini Smokin’ black eyeliner (not show) as well as useful mini tools such as tweezers (they aren’t that great!), a brow groomer and a mini brow brush. For me, this is a great little set that is perfect for travel or keeping in your bag.
Next is the Benefit Brow Zings in Medium (£24.50).
This is clearly a mini version of the above product and comes with just one powder, one wax and some mini tools. For me, it is more financially beneficial to go for the Brows a go-go, but this is alot more compact.
A more purse friendly brow set is the Make Up Revolution / I heart Make Up I love my Brows kit.
This is an absolute steal at £4.99 and includes 2 eyebrow shades, 1 brow tint, 1 highlighter, 4 eyeshadows and some tweezers.
The shadows are a mixture of matte and shimmer and is perfect for creating a nude look which can go from day to night. This is available to buy in Superdrug and is a really good addition to any ones make up bag.
Staying with the purse friendly theme, next is the Sleek Brow powder kit which is almost identical to Benefit Brow Zings but costs £8.99. The only thing I would say about this pallette is that the colour transfers alot darker on the brow than it looks so I had to go for the light version of this. The swatches are below
Finally, we have the very popular Beauty UK High Brow Kit.
This is another drug store bargain, which is £3.99 and is suitable for most colourings with a mixture of three powders in light, medium and dark and a clear wax. It includes a pair of tweezers and a brow brush. I use this palette alot and often use the darkest colour as an eye liner. Again, another must have for any one that likes well groomed brows!
